Objectives:
Phi Lambda Rho is a Chicana/Latina based sorority which continually strives to fulfill its four main objectives. We hold these four objectives close to our hearts because they encourage us to do our best and they provide us with necessary skills to succeed.
Sisterhood
Phi Lambda Rho believes in having a strong and sincere sisterhood bond which enables its members to feel as if they have a family away from home.
Academics
Phi Lambda Rho promotes and supports academic achievement through various avenues such as study sessions, leadership conferences, and workshops. Our number one goal is to have our sisters graduate and to pursue a higher education.
Community Service
Phi Lambda Rho believes in giving back to our community, we do so by actively participating in numerous events that enable us to reach out to nuestra gente.
Promotion of The Chicana/Latina Culture
As a Chicana/Latina based sorority, Phi Lambda Rho has contributed to a number of programs and organizations throughout the state working for and with the latino community. Phi Lambda Rho also hosts Cultural events throughout the year to promote the beauty of our cultura on our campus.
